MSW who also teaches social work; started a non-profit as a way to provide transitional services to women in re-entry. Over the years this has evolved into my latest passion which is to provide actual employment as these women often are on the bottom of the food chain trying to get jobs. We developed a program to re-use, re-purpose and re-cycle fabric and textiles, as a way for the women we serve to make money, while we keep fabric out of the landfills. We teach them to market and sell the items they make to earn extra income.
