Leverage Your Team's Mindset to Accelerate Change Edit Title
Wed, Jan 06, 2016 at 1pm EDT / 10am PDT Edit Date
Your team is experiencing a change -- big or small -- and you notice a range of different responses from team members. Some team members embrace the change easily, others are just going alone with it, and still others may openly resist it. Although personality, work style, and learning styles certainly contribute to how teams approach and process change, the mindset (their assumptions, beliefs and interpretations of events) of team members is often left unexplored during change.
During this webinar, participants will learn:
-- how mindset (consciously or unconsciously) influences a team's reactions to change
-- a process for uncovering team members' mindset in preparation for or during a change
-- how to cultivate and internalize an individual and a team mindset that leverages a team's ability to co-create in the face of change, rather than react, resist and respond.

I found that even though I am in a smaller library and can't use the information as presented, there were a lot of tips that can be adapted to use in any changing environment.

It would have been interesting to hear a little bit more about strategies or recommendations for managing 'resistors' or those who do not convert over to the proponent side.
