Joseph Scarano has helped nonprofit organizations take control of their fiscal and development responsibilities as a CPA, consultant, Board Member and now as a provider of software designed for nonprofit financial management. Currently the CEO of Araize, the developer of FastFund Online, a cloud based solution that seamlessly integrates nonprofit fund accounting, fund raising and payroll in a single system. His responsibilities include product development, customer relations, sales and marketing. Joe was a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York for 10 years, with a focus on auditing and consulting nonprofit organizations. In 1997, Joe took his experience working with nonprofits and was a instrumental in the formation of Araize.
Joe was a member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants Nonprofit Committee, whose primary responsibilities included planning the annual Not-For-Profit Conference, mentoring young CPAs and consulting with nonprofits through the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits.
Joe also served as a volunteer board member and Treasurer of nonprofit organizations and associations in North Carolina.
Joe has a BS in Accounting from Fairfield University.
