I'm a Western Pennsylvania dad trying to build a stronger community through community talent sharing and appreciation.
As an Information Technology professional with skills improving small businesses and non-profit operations, I try to use simple tools and common and open-source services. Sharing my skills to train people to help themselves, especially in my local community, is foremost in my focus. Volunteering at Computer Reach is a practice that lets me help train others, reduce computer waste, and refurbish equipment that is valuable to those needing computer skills.
After over a decade of coaching in our community's youth soccer organization, I've taken on the challenge of being president of the North Allegheny Soccer Club . I hope to motivate parents to volunteer and work with their kids to learn the benefits of teamwork and compassion, regardless of their athletic abilities.
Established in 1974, the North Allegheny Soccer Club is an all-volunteer based youth soccer organization serving the residents of the North Allegheny School District in Western Pennsylvania. We are a northern suburb of Pittsburgh and the club is a member in good standing of PA-West's North District and US Youth Soccer.
