Fundraising as a Profession--What Does it Take to Succeed? Edit Title
In his book, Born to Raise, Jerold Panas lists the top ten qualities of a successful fundraiser as impeccable integrity, good listener, ability to motivate, hard worker, concern for people, high expectations, love the work, high energy, perseverance, and presence. So how does a fundraising professional cultivate these qualities? Let’s look at each one and see if there are things we can do to cultivate what might seem like innate qualities.
