Thank you. I want to use this information as I present to our directors & all the staff. One thing we have found helpful regarding creating budgets, was that each program/department director/manager submits their own budget rather than the Executive Director giving them a budget. It gives them more ownership when it comes to staying in budget & they better understand the financial impact they have. Of course, the Executive Director is the one responsible for the entire budget, and he can ask the department leaders to trim expenses or increase revenue a little if needed.

we don't have all of those officers as a small museum, the board chair and the director are responsible for all that we can, including issues raised here. the speaker was certainly knowledgeable, but maybe you need to do a webinar address to us little nonprofits.
