Since 1989, it has been our vision that Orange County becomes a community where no one need experience hunger or homelessness. As a non-profit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to helping the under employed, the unemployed, households in crisis and the homeless, many of our clients struggle to make a living earning minimum wage. We assist almost 9,500 at-risk South Orange County residents almost half of those are children. Eighty-seven cents of every dollar raised goes directly to programs.
Food Pantry: Provides emergency food to 1,000 residents each month or 9000,000 lbs. annually
Transitional Housing Program: Helps approximately 30 homeless families each year reach self-sufficiency
Computer Learning Lab: Teaches about 500 students annually. Ninety classes a month are offered to improve computer skills necessary to increase job opportunities
Homeless Prevention Program: More than $75,000 in rental and utility assistance is distributed to prevent homelessness through the support of 430 families
Upscale Resale Thrift Store: Provided 435 clothing vouchers to clients in need while working to resell gently used clothing to the community while raising funds to end hunger and homelessness.
